Hey, arcade fans! Ready for a nostalgia trip? The Pacman 30th Anniversary has arrived to bring three decades of dot eating, ghost evading, and score chasing. The game is very old, however there are always new features, rules, and the game is exciting still today.
Imagine this: It takes you back to virtual arcades, controlling that famous yellow circle moving around a maze, eating pellets while running from the bright colored ghosts. Simple, right? However, just like in the real game it’s all about timing, and strategy and how you perfect those complicated turns. Each round becomes tougher, each ghost becomes wiser, and next thing you know; you are engaged in a hot pursuit.
The controls? They haven’t changed! Pacman must navigate through a maze and the controls to use include swipe, tap or arrow keys. If it is this easy to learn pick up, but as the game has always been, to stay alive? That takes skill. The main idea is simple, to catch the Power Pellet and to outsmart those evil spirits when to do it.
Which is quite honestly awesome, is how this particular interpretation embraces Pacman as a character. what you get is the good ol’ block graphics but with nice animations that are present in modern games. But, then again, they have included small bonuses, such as fascinating missions and new game modes to make the game even more enjoyable for the old and the new generation players.
However, the charm of the game, at least for me, is that hiss sound each time Pacman devoured through the board. And what do you get for getting the screen cleared without being seen by those two sets of eyes? That feels like a total win!
The best part? Just as people would get addicted to this game 30 years ago, the same can still hold true today. If you want to beat your previous record or simply spend some time before going to sleep, there is no better choice. And the nostalgia factor? It hits hard.
