Thus, one might expect that normal soccer, but much crazier. You will have characters with abnormally large heads, and small torsos. It was hilarious to watch ’em wobble on their feet the first time I saw it.
The controls of the game are very simple to master, but then, hey, try getting a grip on ‘em. Anytime I remember my early football learning, I still laugh how I used to spend a whole afternoon, just to score a mere goal. Talk about embarrassing!
What makes it fun is the power – we should have said power ups Who loved Road Rash? A minute you are playing soccer as you usually do, and all of a sudden, your ball is on fire. Or you’re suddenly shrunk down to the size of a ball, and you’re trying to move around bare players. It’s wild!
I recall having a childhood with a cousin of mine. The two of us were screaming at the television, laughing our heads off every time our players tripped. This creates an incredibly funny physics – at times your kicks take the ball to the most distant orbits!
The graphics? These two words describe well the results, it is bright, cartoony and just what I wanted for my site. And the sound effects? Now these ladies will have you grinning like a fool.
Multiplayer’s where it’s at. This is fun, challenging friends, making fantastic shots that you never dream of could happen. We did have a tournament last weekend – people raised their level and got intense, but in the positive sense.
There are a number of variations with random power-ups and silly field placements in each match. And suddenly a new twist comes forward, who knows what it will be the next week?
